Centricity Update 3/17

Greetings. It has been a couple of weeks. I hope you forgive my lack of communication.

Ah, it is springtime here in beautiful downtown Franklin. Doors and windows are open to let out the last of winter. And the new burger joint opened up, how can you top that? The Centricity offices are buzzing with marketing meetings and listening time as our three releases are continuing to move forward. I cannot wait for you to hear what is going on. But for now we have photo shoots to do, videos to produce, singles to pick and plans to implement.

Radio Update:

Been a hard week on the radio front. We continue to try to convince radio to give our new bands a try as the singles from Andrew & Jason finish up their run. I must say it is frustrating, sorta like pushing a car up a hill. Takes a lot of effort and it goes slow.

Steve Ford started as an engineer at LA's famed Mama Jo's studio before crossing over to the dark side: marketing. After a stint in artist development and A&R at Sparrow working with Steven Curtis Chapman, BeBe & CeCe Winans, and Out of the Gray, Ford moved onto Star Song and later Myrrh, marketing records by Newsboys, Fernando Ortega, and Amy Grant.
