Centricity Music Expands Staff With Three New Hires In Marketing, Radio Promotion And Operations

Jon Sell And Marshall Macari Promoted To New Positions With Kris Love Joining Radio Promotion Team

Nashville, TN (January 7, 2013) —– Centricity Music is happy to announce the hiring of three important staff members and the promotion of two existing employees.  Ben Stauffer has been named Finance Director for the company, with Kris Love becoming Director of Radio Promotions, and Alyssa Kawata as Marketing Manager.  Marshall Macari has been promoted to the Radio Promotion team and will oversee all Indicator stations, while Jon Sell will join Centricity’s A&R Department.

“In tandem with the success we had during 2012, we are happy to expand the Centricity family to handle the company’s growing responsibilities,” says Caren Seidle, General Manager, Centricity Music.  “We are so fortunate to bring such talented people as Ben, Kris and Alyssa onboard and to be able to promote Marshall and Jon, as they have shown such growth and invigorating talent during their years with the label.  We are very excited as we begin 2013 and look forward to continued growth and success in the coming year.”

Ben Stauffer – A Pittsburgh, PA native, Stauffer moved to Nashville in 2010 to pursue his dream of a career in the music business. He joined Centricity Music at that time through the Lipscomb University MBA Fellowship program, working on various business improvement projects while completing his graduate degree at night. After a brief stint performing business management duties at the highly respected firm of Flood, Bumstead, McCready, and McCarthy, Stauffer re-joined the Centricity team as Finance Director and will report directly to Seidle.  Ben spends his free time visiting Nashville’s rock clubs, watching his beloved Steelers and Notre Dame football teams, and reading.

Kris Love – Love hails from Knoxville, TN and graduated with a Broadcasting degree from the University of Tennessee.  Love began his music career in Christian Retail in Knoxville for four years, before working at AC and CHR radio stations in the city.  In 2010, Love moved to Nashville, TN and for two years became one of the top independent radio promoters before becoming the Director of Radio Promotion for Centricity Music.  Love will report directly to Steve Ford, Vice President of Marketing.  Love lives in Franklin with his wife Amanda, his 6-month-old son Garrett, and his Golden Retriever Lady.

Alyssa Kawata – Kawata is a Texas native who graduated from Belmont University in 2010 with a degree in Music Business and Dance.  After graduation, Kawata learned the ropes of the music industry by interning with Centricity Music, HearItFirst.com and EMI CMG, before being name as Content Administrator for HearItFirst.com.  Centricity Music is happy to welcome back Kawata as the Marketing Manager, overseeing all online marketing, and she will report to Ford.  Kawata still makes good use of her Dance degree by teaching dance classes in the Nashville area in her spare time.
