Jason Gray Receives ASCAP Award for “Good To Be Alive”

Nashville, TN (May 7, 2013) — Centricity Music’s artist and songwriter, Jason Gray, was honored last night at ASCAP’s 35th Annual Christian Music Awards. Jason received an ASCAP “Most Performed Song Award” for his song “Good to Be Alive,” co-written with ASCAP’s Brandon Heath and SESAC’s Jason Ingram. The song was a Top 5 single on Christian radio and was released on Gray’s album “A Way to See in the Dark.” Jason was awarded among those such as Matt Redman, Matthew West, Chris August, Ben Glover, and other impressive names in Christian music.

    Well deserved and long over due. Jason’s music touches the lives and ministers to so many people. Glad he is getting recognition, but knowing Jason, he is very humble about all this and probably quite embarrassed.
